i had to tell my neighbour

that some crackheads came by today

they farted around at his place for hours

before they went on their thieving way

there would have been at least thirty of 'em

...swarmed his place they did

the coppers even drove past at one stage

but the crackies they just hid

they were in his bins and under his deck

searched both his front yard and the back

just looking for shit that they could pinch

and then later sell for crack

clear as day i could see a pack of pilfering crackheads

as they razed the yard next door

looking for anything that they could steal

and sell it so they can score

i peeked between the gaps in my curtains

i didn't want my observations noted

i compiled a list of all their misdeeds

so i wouldn't be future misquoted

they pinched all the previous parcels

that the  postie had placed  on your porch

they managed to open your tool shed

took a spade, a wrench and a torch

they got the gas bottle off ya BBQ

and they've taken half your back door mat

they got your stubby holder collection

stole ya thongs and  kicked ya cat

but the police they won't do shit

they've probably got a protest to quell

they don't care about you or your ex belongings

but they might have crack to sell!
