Apron

Poem.

By Danny Prem kumarPublished about a year ago β€’ 1 min read

**Apron**

Tied around with practiced ease,

The apron whispers in the breeze.

A shield from flour, from stain and spill,

It wraps around with quiet will.

In kitchens warm or workshops neat,

It bears the marks of tasks complete.

Of meals prepared with care and grace,

Of hands that work, of time and place.

Its strings are worn, its fabric frayed,

Yet still it serves, unafraid.

A humble cloak of simple thread,

That tells the stories daily fed.

In every fold, a memory stays,

Of busy nights and peaceful days.

The apron speaks of love and care,

A witness to life’s work laid bare.
