The apple spoke to me one day,

Through a voice that seemed to say,

"Imagine if fruit could talk,

What a world it would unlock.

We'd share our stories of the earth,

From seedling days to times of dearth,

Our blemishes, our shades and hues,

Our sweetness, bitterness and juice.

We'd share insights on the land,

The wind, the sun, the soil and sand,

We'd teach of growth in every stage,

Of the goodness that we engage.

But hear me now, dear friend,

Our messages may have to bend,

For despite our wisdom, we are fruits,

Our voice is seasonal and mute.

So instead, I ask of you,

To spread the word, to help us do,

To tell the tale of our lives,

And show the world that nature thrives."
