Her appearance in this life
slipped past
the conscious intention makers of the world,
and instead,
she was brought into the world
by have to-s,
and taken care of
by the don’t really want to-s.
She searched for sincerity, honesty,
and a safe place to be in her innocence.
Blown about in a wind of
confusion and misunderstanding
with communication feasting
on misrepresentation,
peace coming at last
when the only person to answer to was herself
and in that intimacy and simplicity
a new life emerged
that included
every living thing.
