Isn't it?

I only want the sun

until I see the devil

before I say your name

so tomorrow’s scars can blister

I hear mountains

piles of puckered lips

whispering rock and shadow

teasing skies of yellow, blue,

and black laughter

Haha

every lonesome day

just quotes another bruise

rotting through my skin

I have nowhere left

to rest my head

to count your pulse

to bite your neck

But that’s your blood in my mouth

isn’t it?

The salt is red

the bed is broken

the moon’s a lie

and if it’s full

then why am I?
