Moments of Regrets

I sat and thought about the hell I have put you through,

As I was thinking out loud

I shook my head in shame

With tears rolling down my face.

I realized it was me who was the problem

And not you.

You didn’t deserve to be treated that way

And I didn’t value you.

I wasn’t being honest with you

and committed to you.

I took you for granted by disrespecting you

And I’m sorry.

Every time you tried to help me to see

What I didn’t see within myself,

I refused to listen to you,

I refused to change for the better for myself and for you,

Because I wanted to do it MY way!

Now that we are no longer together,

I realized you are worth more than what you deserved,

Yeah I messed up,

But my love you for you still remains the same.
