It is the place you have to return after school for more than a decade.

It is the place you hope to find refuge and safety, peace of mind and acceptance.

It is the place you should think of most often when you are far away and dream what it will be like when you see it again someday.

It is the place you will leave when you are big and strong enough to face the world on your own.

Some will jump at every chance to walk through the door and feel the embrace of familiarity, but for others, they will run and run.

Chased away by pain, sadness, and heartache they flee.

They will lock it all away and never return to the place that was not home, but hell.
