Anybody Else

We aren't good for anybody else

By Brandi DeMaris WelchPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

You and I may be bad for each other but we aren’t good for anybody else

Through lies and the cheating and knowing how it felt

We still went and made our mistakes day in and day out

You and I may be bad for each other but we aren’t good for anybody else

I saw the way you looked at me every time I said goodbye

The tears I wept just to go home to live another lie

Trying to keep everything together when our love fell apart

Clarifying myself just to know what I had from the very start

You and I may be bad for each other but we aren’t good for anybody else

To all the times we thought our path was done

To wanting to pull the trigger but had no gun

You and I may be bad for each other but we aren’t good for anybody else

The day has come where the confusion still lies

Where we went wrong with all of our fucked up goodbyes

You and I may be bad for each other but we aren’t good for anybody else

Asking one another if we are ready for this ride

Knowing deep down our graves are already side by side

You and I may be bad for each other but we aren’t good for anybody else
