Antsy Mind

🐜

By Rowan Finley Published 10 months ago • 1 min read

I know I’m one in a million,

as an ant on a hill.

When I gazed upon your ravishing visage,

I couldn’t help but crawl along the bed of your picturesque petals.

The moment couldn’t last long enough,

then the other worker ants called me back to reality.

Endlessly, I replay the way it all felt,

your silence…

made the intense drum of my heart radiate and reverberate all the mightier.

One day,

I aim to go back and embrace the world of your perfection.

Forgive me,

as I make a mountain out of an ant hill,

in the powerhouse of my churning, antsy mind.
