Anthi’s Left Breast

It Had to Be a Sonnet

Anthi’s left breast loves me best, so it says

When I kiss the right one firstly before

I look at it impressed à la française*

Divulging all about it I adore

Its pert nipple protrudes more than the right

Staring at me with desire in its heart

I am only flesh and bone and delight

No matter my disposition or part

I finally kiss it hello, my dear

I will always love you as well or more

Pointing to my chest, I can hear you here

Whether standing or bending on the floor

We touch a lot longer than we confer

Anthi’s eyes are closed as we three concur

-----

* “the French way” pronounced, à la fronsays.
