A Sole Sonnet

Anthi’s feet can take wing without the wind

Each toe participates in this fab flight

As she raises both of them in my mind

Before I see them flying to the sky

Manicured in blue and white they are pinned

To both my brain and chest like a birthright

I kiss them with my heart and thoughts aligned

Along the curve of each five toes’ fly-by

Soft like my tongue they are beautiful-skinned

No matter if it is night or daylight

Their stars of origin were M-designed

Following a kindred course to each thigh

When Anthi’s feet are dipped in my ocean

Waves abound towards her perfect motion
