Oh, won’t you stay? I think you should.

The coffee just came on.

The conversation’s just getting good.

Eye to eye, I know the look

of a paint-chipped colossus, freshly fallen.

But won’t you stay? I think you should.

Many have stood where you once stood.

There’s a song for every swan.

And the conversation’s just getting good.

What do you think you’d change if you could?

There you go again with that timeless joke, the dark and deathly one.

Ha! But won’t you stay? I think you should.

Shall we peek under the reaper’s hood?

Note the bald patch breaking as the dawn?

I told you, the conversation’s just getting good.

Dear friend, if you’re going to lose your way in the wood,

there are a few things you should know—they won’t take long.

Oh, won’t you stay? I think you should.
