Eclipsed from her life I was

Curtailed to follow her cause

Loved her I did since before

In the wee hours of the war

Poseidon won and then lost

Serpentine for being crossed

Everyone had to be tossed

    You added rhyme to yours Patrick! I feel there's a Pink Floyd reference I'm probably missing, but the shortness of these entries means you can only say so much in seven lines, and I get a feeling of loss in this.
