Another Day

There’s something about the way that you kiss.

By Brianna OPublished 7 years ago 1 min read

Loving you is the hardest thing to do

From sleepless nights and waking up with you

Smell of coffee in the morning

And your raspy voice

The neighbours complaining about our noise

Cause that smile that you got on your face

That look makes me feel some type of way

Damn, there’s nothing I would change

And no one makes me feel the same

The touch of your skin the way you taste

Oh god, I wish we had another day

There’s something about the way that you kiss

That makes it harder for you to miss

And I know what I got with you is so goddamn good

I wouldn’t change it for the world if I could

Cause that smile that you got on your face

That look you give me, please just stay

Damn, there’s no one else the same

And no one makes me feel this way

The touch of your skin the way you taste

Oh god, I wish we had another day

So just lay here with me on this Sunday afternoon

Even though you’re here by my side, I'll still be thinking of you

The touch of your hands on my hips

The touch of your palms and your fingertips

These are the memories I will miss.
