Animal Whisperer

A poem about animals and me

By Robert KegelPublished 5 years ago 1 min read
Ollie and I

Some call me cat whisperer

Some call me dog whisperer

Animals just love me

Bobby and I

My friends get jealous because they're animals sit by me

waiting for me to pet them

They cuddle with me and are sad when I leave

It doesn't matter what color or type

Red, gray, black or white

I'm not Tarzan or George of the Jungle

I'm just me

An animal lover, and they love me

Some joke it's pheromones

Some say it's just my personality

Whatever it is

Don't be green with envy

Your animals still love you

They still care

They'll just love me more

While I'm there

Lightning and I
