The anger bubbles up inside of me,
the hatred heats me to the core.
My brain and body finally agree,
something that hasn't happened before.

The anger is eating me inside
while hatred kills me from the inside out.
To their rules, I must abide.
All I want to do is shout.

Spiders
I have a spider in my shower. I have taken a shower in there three times despite this knowledge and it haunts me between each drop of water, each brush against the wall or showerhead. I do not know where it lurks. I saw it once and since then it has maintained a steady hidden location, to which my eyes only half-heartedly search.
