Of the softest down

Your wings silently enshroud

So gently I am undisturbed

They slide along my cheek

Across my forehead

Delicately they sink in

Pushing through paper flesh

Dreams are made of feathers

Wings encase my world

So beautiful I am undisturbed

You slip inside me

Fetter my soul

With arms willfully spread

You are welcomed back

This other you invades me

An angel you upon supernal wings

So desired I am undisturbed

You encircle my sky

Usurping my sun

And entwining with me

Even through first blush

With a soft unwinding

The wings flex and spread

So sweetly I am undisturbed

They slip from my eyes

Brushing my lips

Ephemeral pinions recoil as

The angel withdraws once more
