Angel of the Deep

A Poem

By Atomic HistorianPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

Angel of the Deep

Hidden in plain sight

Shifting sands and waves

Draw in the fools and the brave in equal measure

A creature of beauty and grace

Older than our destructive race

They have outlived so many

Terrible lizards

The days of fairies, unicorns, and wizards

Let us pray to the Lords of the Shallows

And Gods of the Depths

That they remain

When we have breathed our last breath
