And what we shall forever be

Inspirational Poem-America's 250th

By Distinguished Honorary Alumni Dr. Matthew PrimousPublished 4 months ago 1 min read

Feeling left out

Feeling empty

Disturb about the times

Disturb about your country

Declare your Washington

Sick of malice

Sick of deceit

Sick of tyranny

Declare your Washington

Fund a cause

Start a campaign

Finance a war

Revolutionize

Energize

Strengthen

Encourage

Build up

Ever felt left out

Ever felt unnoticed

Ever felt despised

Declare your Douglass

Agitate

Organize

Assembly

And don't stop till you get

justice and peace

respect and dignity

courage and no doubt

Call your revolution

Call your stance

For this is the American Way

The American Dream

The American Brave

What we stood for

What we are

And what we shall forever be

Stream of Consciousness
