And we agreed.

...

We had an agreement,

Rather a disagreement,

We grew into space,

But somehow in this place,

Silence is not strange,

But now I crave change,

I am joined at the bench,

But I did not clench,

I am not angered,

Which was a standard,

I am steady,

Maybe ready,

I shift a little,

I'm not as committal,

But I hear a shift,

That feels like a gift,

I turn and see,

An agreement with me.

What I get out of this is you had a disagreement about a commitment and then finally an agreement. Nicely Done!!!
