And so on, the list goes on

A never-ending thread, a marathon

Of things we need to do or say

In each and every passing day

The chores we have to complete

The people we need to meet

The projects we must deliver

The promises we made forever

And so on, the clock ticks away

As we keep busy night and day

The world keeps turning without rest

And we keep striving to do our best

But sometimes in this endless grind

We forget to pause and unwind

To take a breath and just be still

To appreciate life's little thrill

And so on, let us not forget

That life is more than just a set

Of tasks and goals we need to achieve

But also moments to cherish and believe

In love, in hope, in joy, in peace

In all the things that make life sweet

So let us take a moment to reflect

And savor life's every aspect

For in the end, when all is said and done

It's not the tasks we completed, but the memories we've won

And so on, let's make each day count

And treasure life's moments, small or profound.
