I don't depart from anger.

I leave not out of hate.

I journeyed from your daily life for change could never wait.

An unknown future guide we follow.

There has never been a set course.

I delivered my comfort from innocent pride.

It paved a road where depression would collide.

I remember your broken tears of shock.

Then you pulled away.

A day I wished never to come.

The day I walked away.

Your mother and I departed.

I moved out of the home.

I carry a memory with me.

In the past, I traveled alone.

The grief our family suffers.

A new chapter we now start.

I dive into a lonely palace.

Answering questions I had never thought.

We meet on certain days.

I see you now with time.

Our bond of love grows deeper.

I hear your words mix with mine.

I have died so many different ways.

Separate was my sign.

I notice you walk beside me now.

Finally, finding our spoken lines.
