Hello to the New Year
I hope you will be filled with good cheer
As we put all our regrets away
As we turn to face a new day
New resolutions and promises made
As we join those new gym memberships not yet paid
As we remember days of old
New wishes and ideas so bold
Wishing the new year a true success
Forgetting the past as we do not regress
Hoping and wishing for dreams to come true
Awaiting the things not fulfilled and makes us blue
As another old year goes astray
Another new year comes in with grace I pray
May we hopefully put Covid19 to rest
May this new year be our best
An ode to a New Year
As we review the old year with our peers
As we eagerly await the new
Our hopes and dreams will longingly come true
