My gluttonous hands run across the form captured in film, laying prostrate along a deep ravine.
when once, long ago, life happened.
Left to scatter in time’s cell.
Captive to its bars, fences and less discovered seal.
An innocence beautifully framed
In the notes of a desert scene.
The vineyards’ vines holding close what it held very dear - Passion with which we allowed it to love.
Passage through the sun-divided greenery, scratching at our arms and hearts.
Love affair, Lolita, with nature’s grace.
we had no need to word each emotion.
Each step taken in requisition for land lulled by the evening shadows,
Cast by the only clock we followed.
Coming seasons scent the leaves, while our omniscient cobalt sky Dances in the heat waves
Beneath our legs and between strands of hair.
