An Epic Tale...Well, Almost

Up in the mountains where the sky is blue and the air is thin,

Comes a bellowing roar set to curl your skin!

Down below in the valley of green,

Comes the answering defiant scream!

Armor begins to rattle,

As a knight charges upon his glorious steed.

From the heavens comes sound of a terrible flight,

As the Dragon swoops down for an ugly feed.

Tis' the start of a legendary battle!

But will this be a tragic fight?

Or a an epic tale of legend?

Alas we shall never know!

For with a resounding "Thump!" a book comes to a close,

And a child to bed does his mother send.
