An Entire Generation

Vile Criminals

By DMTakeshiPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

An entire generation

Just wanting to off themselves

Please help their desperation

While guns rest upon their shelves

Remind me why I’m here

Remind me not to go back

Remind me because it’s not clear

Remind me which is the right track

We are deprived of all connection

Objects before people

Innocent games turned obsession

Not all times created equal

Where do we go from this point

Where do we stand

Forced to disjoint

Coerced to disband

Eliminate all authority

And their virtuous malevolence

The need to lose conformity

Has never been so evident

What if we broke the norm

Didn’t pay those bills

Refused to perform

Indulge in the thrills

An entire generation

Actually savoring their time

Before their expiration

Shouldn’t be such a vile crime
