An-Atomic

Fission of the self.

By Matthew EastmanPublished 4 years ago β€’ 1 min read

Cardionuclear burst, strongly close proof of the hurt.

Tardy, ghosts soon to be curbed. God knows we deserve worse.

Inspect the disinfectant; did time elect or systemize the germs?

We aren't just what's left to taste violence when brutalized and unfed.

Bombardment; indebted slave drivers who eulogize their bloodshed.

Without hesitation, why let obsessive regrets collect at the spearhead of this weapon the dead call a life lesson?

It's a thought experiment. A fighting occasion.

The only sensation: a detonation, annexing of beating chests.

Breathing in cessation, what's left is a dead man, vacancy at best.

They can see the rest is suppressed, distress invested in a hornet's nest.

Regressed into depression, threatened at the loss of one week's remittance.

Sunlight spitting at fenced in windows, clouds fall from the ground above.

Shockwave tremors a tempest crescendo. How tall is this mound of guts?

Visiting remnants of the wicked and sinful; crowds recall how this all wound up.

You sound done, what is it you're out of - proud of? Hounded some rounded down love, found none by virtue of your bloodlust.

War cry in silence, ionized for tickets to a vintage reminiscence. Pay up, dimwit.

About this time you've initialized your victim crime. Mindset below the horizon; no surprises.

Curiosity-fermented feline, are you alive or atomized?

You know who set this house on fire.
