Thorough thoughts
We seem to see
But we don’t
Life isn’t just ourselves
Or happiness we live in
Or even pain we hide
It’s what our lives
Affects who’s around you
Demon talks through us
Thinks for us
We don’t notice
But it happens.
The question is
what we do about it?
Wisdom we leave behind
Suffering we don’t help
Worry we don’t care
It’s just nature we say.
No nature order
On how we choose to live
Or how we choose to affect
Who’s around us
Or even unrelieved pain
we caused
We tend to walk blindly
Driven by demon among us
Teaching us bad habits
Changing us to normalizing
What’s odd.
Among us
I see peace
I see love
Nevertheless
I also see rotten dignity
Ego grew bizarre
Hatred spreading.
It’s precious to see
It’s genius to learn
Commit to what’s right
Look on a bright side
You’ll shine brighter.
