You are amazingly beautiful.
Your hair is as gold as the sunshine.
Your skin is white as pearl.
Your eyes are as blue as a lagoon.
You are amazingly beautiful.
You are a warm hearted person.
You are kind and caring.
You are a selfless person who is giving and grateful for all you receive back.
You are amazingly beautiful.
You respect all people and love everyone for who they are.
You are a good friend and are there thick and thin.
You are strong willed and compassionate to those who are suffering.
You are amazingly beautiful.
You are the most affectionate person I have ever met.
You appreciate everything someone does for you or gives to you.
You are amazingly beautiful.
You are a wonderful mother and child.
You are nurturing towards your children and honor your parents.
You are amazingly beautiful.
You are intelligent and talented.
But most of all you are amazingly beautiful just being who you are.

Day 4 of Quitting
If this is how sobriety feels, maybe it’s better to go through life a little buzzed… this, along with other hits like, I want to kill myself, I wish I was dead, and I’m going to throw myself off a bridge have been the only thoughts on rotation these past few days. I promise myself that if, in a month, I still feel like this (‘this’ meaning despondent, full of rage, and simultaneously numb) I can go back to smoking. Until mid-February though? Nicotine is off the table.
