why did you lie to me
and called me pretty
making me to 'actually'
accept it,
'Am I really pretty?"
.
when everyone else
ain't even trying
yet subtly enough
to make me realize
how hideous i 'actually' am
.
so why do you have to
light up the little
spark of hope,
that was never there
unfolding the hoax?
.
is it you?
or is it everybody else?
that i depend on
or you may say it's me
but what if i am
one of everybody else
why did you lie to me?
