Alone without you

My home

I’m lost

running through the woods with no care in the world

I have no idea how I got here and I have no idea how I’m gonna get back hearing the dirt crunch underneath my feet

I look up into the trees and all I see is darkness

I Think about everything that I’ve been through and how I’ve always felt alone

Even in crowded room with a smile on my face I still feel alone

in front of friends and family laughing sound and carefree I still feel alone

But when I’m with you when your hand goes in mine

when your lips caress my skin

when you hold me close

I know that home is not a place

home is you and with that the trees clear and the moon shines and you’re standing there with a smile on your face waiting for me

love poems
