Alone with My Thoughts

A poem of loneliness

It’s me again

Here I am

All alone as it seems

I’m not with anyone

Just myself and me

I try to reach out

But nothing seems to be

Working for me

I sit here with my coffee

All of my thoughts in mind

Hoping for an answer

Waiting for a sign

I may see it coming

Or, I may not

Thinking about it

I won’t stop

I long for others

But now I sit and see

That it will always be, for now

Mine, myself and me.
