Am I alone
People surround me
All my family and friends
Yet no one to talk to
No ear to bend
They're all so distant
Unapproachable it seems
Maybe I'm imagining things
I make more of an effort
Trying to chat and fit in
It's certainly not working
They do not know me
But they think that they do
I have answered my question
I am alone
