"Alone in the Darkness"

Alone in the darkness, I sit and I cry,

Tears flowing freely, with no one nearby,

My heart heavy and burdened, with a weight I can't bear,

All alone in the darkness, with nobody to care.

The silence is deafening, it echoes around,

In the darkness, no light can be found,

The emptiness consumes me, as I try to cope,

But the darkness has taken over, and I have lost all hope.

The memories haunt me, of a love once shared,

But now that love is gone, and I am left scared,

Scared of the darkness, scared of the unknown,

In this world of loneliness, I am all alone.

The night stretches on, with no end in sight,

I am trapped in this darkness, with no escape in sight,

But deep down I know, that the light will return,

And I will leave this darkness, and again I will learn.

For even in darkness, there is still hope,

A glimmer of light that helps us to cope,

So I will hold on tight, and keep moving forward,

And the darkness will lift, and my heart will be restored.

For every journey through darkness, there's an end,

With every corner turned, a new light may descend,

The path may be winding, and the road may be tough,

But the strength we possess, is often enough.

So, I'll cling to that hope, like a lifeline in the night,

And keep pushing forward, with all of my might,

For though the darkness may feel endless and grim,

I know that there's light, just waiting to begin.

And when I emerge from this darkness to light,

My heart will be stronger, with a will to fight,

For even in the depths of the darkest night,

There's a hope that burns, forever bright.
