Alone in the Dark

When you're feeling lonely

In the quiet night, shadows play,

Loneliness whispers, won't go away.

No one's there, just me and the moon,

Feeling lost in this quiet cocoon.

Stars twinkle high up in the sky,

But here, I'm all alone, oh why?

Heart is heavy, feeling small,

Loneliness, a heavy shawl.

Yet, in this silence, a tiny spark,

A chance to find strength in the dark.

Though alone, I'll find my way,

In the quiet night, a brighter day.

Song I recommend to listen to when you're feeling lonely:

How about happiness of life? Sould not we start to ask someone every day like "How are you?" Especially such people who looks like that one on the picture.

  • I relate to one's loneliness as I have struggled on and off with a sense of not belonging. This is why I write and paint. You recreate emotion gracefully; you enveloped the sense of emptiness perfectly.
