Alone Boy

Alone he stands, upon the shore,

With the waves crashing at his feet.

He gazes out, forever more,

To the horizon, so far and sweet.

His heart is heavy, his thoughts unclear,

But in the vastness, he finds his peace.

For in the loneliness, he can hear,

His soul's true rhythm, its own release.

He'll stand there, till the stars are bright,

And the moon casts its silver glow.

For in the dark, he'll find his light,

And know, he's not alone, not anymore.

Though others may not understand,

He'll always find solace in the sand.
