Trench coats approach an uninhabited alley

The rain muffles the sound of their footsteps

They look up at the light from a window; he’s home

They look down at their guns; it’s on

Long time coming

Things done in the dark, things unsaid in the light

He’s home

In a few minutes, he will be no longer

Trench coats are ready

They smile...

They revel in each other...

They embrace…

The city lights shine bright

The one in the window has extinguished

They embrace…

And embrace and embrace…

Another trench coat approaches the now inhabited alley...
