All my life I’ve waited to feel this well;

All my life, and no one could tell.

Waited for the correct path to take,

While I went through pain, and sometimes heartache.

I was there, but happiness was gone;

I was there, but didn’t belong.

Dwelling in the shadows, remaining unheard;

Tucked under a blanket, not saying a word.

You gave me the strength, enough to break free;

Of the guilt that I had, burning inside of me.

Now it’s clear, now there is you;

Now my path, is in plain view.

All my life I’ve waited to feel this well;

All my life I’ve waited,

And now I can tell.
