All is fair in love and war

The power of love during war

By Akerele EmmanuelPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

In the game of love and war,

We find ourselves tangled and torn,

Bound by passion, fueled by desire,

Striving for victory, consumed by fire.

In love, we fight for the heart's affection,

Navigating a world of boundless connection,

Through the highs and lows, we take our stand,

Hoping to hold the one who holds our hand.

In war, we battle for power and might,

Seeking domination, fueled by a fight,

In the midst of chaos, we find our way,

Braving the darkness, embracing the fray.

All is fair in love and war, they say,

But what is fairness in such a tumultuous play?

Is it the heartache that tears us apart,

Or the triumph that mends a battle-scarred heart?

In love, we lay our vulnerabilities bare,

Risking it all for a love so rare,

We yearn for connection, a bond so true,

And through all the struggles, we push on through.

In war, we face the ultimate test,

Fighting for freedom, a world distressed,

With courage and valor, we stand our ground,

Seeking peace and harmony, where love is found.

In love and war, we learn to endure,

Our hearts and spirits, resilient and pure,

For in the struggle, we find our worth,

In love and war, we discover our birth.

So let us embrace the challenges we face,

In love and war, with grace and embrace,

For in the end, it is love that will endure,

And in our hearts, it will reign evermore.
