All Because of Me

It was a temporary love thing

That could've last

But at the last minute

She brought up the past

She stood in silence

Her eyes filled with tears

I told her I know but couldn't let go

She broke down

Fell to her knees

She yelled and screamed

You told me you would never leave!

I guess I was wrong..

I see her hurting

I can see her pain

She takes a blade

Pushes it against her vein

She starts to cut

Deeper and deeper she goes

She starts to bleed outta control

I tried to stop her

I begged and cried

I yelled for help

No one came

So I picked her up

And held her tight

Sooner or later she saw the light

I cried and cried until I couldn't cry no more

She left behind a daughter who was only four years old

I saw how much she loved me

How much she cared

This is all my fault

I did this to her

She should have kept her heart locked in a vault

So I couldn't break it...

Now her soul can finally be FREE

This happened all because of me...
