Aliens don’t fall for stupid pretty boys
Who break their hearts
And walk on the pieces.
Aliens don’t cry about things that suck
Like the people who don’t care
And the people who pretend to.
Aliens don’t fight
To get out of bed every morning
And do better than they did yesterday.
It’s all so simple in the alien world
Of green faces and no hearts,
Of chrome and red buttons.
I want to live there
So my little human self learns
How to live in an alien world
