The beauty of galaxies
To the visitor from realms afar,
I'd offer up a shining star,
A beacon in the velvet night,
A source of wonder, pure and bright.
Its twinkle speaks of ancient tales,
Of cosmic winds and distant sails,
A fire that burns through endless space,
A symbol of our human race.
With care, I'd pluck it from the sky,
And place it in your curious eye,
To show you Earth's celestial grace,
And welcome you to this boundless place.
In its glow, we'd find our way,
Beneath its light, we'd dance and sway,
A bond forged 'twixt worlds so wide,
Through stardust dreams and earthly stride.
So, starry gem from realms unknown,
This gift, to you, I'd gladly loan,
A token of our shared embrace,
A symbol of our cosmic space.
