Today's Found Poem has been written in response to one of my latest book purchases 'Alice's Adventure In Wonderland & Other Stories' by Lewis Carroll. I picked 12 random pages - then the 8th sentence and then the 9th, 10th, 11th word moving onto that pages 23rd sentence and it's 9th, 10th and 11th words reshaped, rejiggled and reorganised into 'Alice'.

Alice

Difficulties great

hastily began again,

Alice couldn't help looking

there was something found,

a rather helpless sorrow.

She laughed at the flowers

no fairer was life

with it's dark chambers

of triumph.

    Nice article

  • That is a clever take on creating a poem. Love Lesis Carroll. Have you seen "The Hunting of the Snark" on Amazon and visited La Rosa in Whitby, think you would like both
