Little girl, little girl sit there and shut up
Good girls do as their told.
Put your cutest shoes and your prettiest dress on.
Don't forget to do your hair and make-up.
No one likes a trashy girl.
Go to school come home, take care of your siblings and help around the house.
Grow up and become a good housewife.
But I don't want to.
I want to lay under a tree all afternoon and read.
Don't talk back and no sassiness
I'm itching to get out of line
This doesn't feel right.….
I feel like build a bitch
But I want to build my own bitch
We're not the same, so don't make me the same.
Let me follow the rabbit down the hole and have tea with the Mad Hatter.
Stop being so selfish and get back in line.
It's not always about you.
……..But when is it about me?
