Air

Quadru-haiku

Air

Atoms move freely

Spreading through the atmosphere

In the air we breathe.

Made up of gases

Perfect for living on earth

Life sustainable.

While invisible

It takes up space, has volume

And exerts pressure.

Flying a toy kite

A child’s idea of fun

In the wind it flies.

About the Creator

Colleen Millsteed

My first love is poetry — it’s like a desperate need to write, to free up space in my mind, to escape the constant noise in my head. Most of the time the poems write themselves — I’m just the conduit holding the metaphorical pen.
