After The Wine I Will Be Just Fine
And she is just fine.

"After the wine, I will be just fine,"
In the crimson glow of the sun's decline.
A woman trapped in an unhappy embrace,
Yearning to break free, yet remaining in place.
.
In the quiet of the evening, as shadows softly creep,
She seeks solace in the bottle, her secrets to keep.
With each sip, the worries slowly fade away,
Replacing anguish with a temporary bouquet.
.
Her heart's burdened by a love that's turned sour,
A relationship that drains her, hour by hour.
She dreams of escape, of a life unrestrained,
But the shackles of fear keep her tightly chained.
.
The wine dances on her tongue, numbing the pain,
A fleeting escape from the emotional strain.
It swirls in her glass, a temporary respite,
Helping her forget, if only for the night.
.
As the stars twinkle above, she sips the red wine,
Drowning her sorrows, trying to redefine
The strength within her, the courage to depart,
To break free from the chains that hold her heart.
.
But morning arrives, and reality sets in,
The wine's embrace fades, and she feels the sin.
She awakens with heavy heart and weary eyes,
The truth obscured by her nightly disguise.
.
She yearns for a love that lifts her spirit high,
That kindles her soul, where she can truly fly.
The wine may offer solace, but it cannot mend,
The broken fragments of a love that won't transcend.
.
She gathers her strength, her courage renewed,
Resolving to leave, to find a love that's true.
For after the wine, she knows deep in her core,
That happiness awaits, beyond this closed door.
.
No more will she drown her sorrows in wine,
Instead, she'll seek freedom, a life so divine.
For in the depths of her heart, she's starting to see,
That after the wine, her true self will be set free.
