" Coming Home" Tim Janis

We would never know what calm is without feeling the storm.

We would never know what joy is without feeling sadness .

We would never know what light is without seeing the darkness.

Since the beginning of time, God has provided us with contrast so that we could know what peace is, how joy feels and what light brings. Love brings us peace, joy and light even when we have been through the storm, felt the sadness and sat in the darkness.

He knows where we've been, where we are, and He alone knows where we're going.

No matter how bad the storm rages, we know that it will pass and we'll be OK if we trust in His protection. May we find that calm during the storm.

Amen.

Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness.” Genesis‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬-‭4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
