After Sappho
Inspired by random fragments from Sappho, a poem stitched together, coming into agreeance.

And I am the one who is,
Left to step, yet told to choose.
What choice could ever be wrong.
Ask for anything,
But take wing.
I struggle in this.
Told dewy dahlia, weep not;
The past was not meant to haunt.
Tears formed a mirror,
Reflections here.
Heal within,
Curses of kin;
Surely a win.
These drops merely weakened the box.
Being of light, Shine!
You are Violet.
Flying,
Shooting,
Branching.
Look to your Book of Shadows.
As Above, So Below.
Choose and let go.
My oath to you, as yours to me.
Step forward,
Or wander;
But take order.
Chooser and Chosen,
Soft yet embolden.
A dandelion in the wind,
Landing in kind to mend.
You were never alone.
Look to Sirius.
Remain curious.
