After I Die

I'll be by the water

By Dylan Published 3 months ago 1 min read

After I die

Don't worry about a headstone

You won't find me in a grave

Buy me a bench by the water

Throw my ashes in the bay

Because that's where I'll be

If you're patient and wait

Sit there, you'll see

The open water will wave

A little birdie will show up

With twinkling eyes

It'll land on a rock

You'll watch and you'll cry

Then I'll fly away

I don't want you to cry

I want you to smile

After I die

This one’s beautifully gentle—peaceful, not mournful! Love doesn’t end, it just changes form and learns to fly🕊️
