When the road is rough and the path is steep,

And you feel like you're in too deep,

When everything seems to fall apart,

And it feels like you've lost your heart.

Remember that after every night,

Comes a day that's bathed in light,

And after every tear that you shed,

Comes a smile that'll light up your head.

The road may be long, but it's not forever,

The storm may be strong, but it won't last forever,

For everything that has a beginning, must end,

And all that breaks will eventually mend.

So hold on tight, and don't let go,

Even if the winds of change blow,

For after every difficulty, there is ease,

Verily after every difficulty there is ease.

Keep your head up, and your heart strong,

And you'll find your way before too long,

For in the end, it's not the destination,

But the journey that brings the revelation
